Most women’s heads are a 57-58 cm size. Men’s heads are generally a 60-61 cm size. It all depends on how the hat feels on your head, some like a loose fit some prefer a tighter fit depending on head size or hair style. If your measurement falls between a size, round it up to the next largest size so that you are guaranteed of a comfortable fit that you can simply adjust if needed.

All House of Ord - Cape Town sunhats have an internal size adjustment. That allows you to tighten your hat for the perfect fit. They are also extremely useful in windy conditions! Hats include either an inner drawstring, Velcro, or Comfy-Fit elastic clip size adjustment.

Most of our House of Ord hats can be packed with ease in your luggage depending on their materials. Some hats can be rolled or squashed flat, whilst others should be handled with more care. If a hat needs to be packed in your luggage for an extended period of time, you can place it upside down in your empty suitcase before packing your clothes around the hat. This ensures it will keep its stylish shape and is recommended for packing Natural Fibre & Raffia styles.
